- WHAT IS A FORTNIGHT?
Old English Term – Fortnight is an old English term used during the Shakespearean age. It means two weeks. It is believed that fourteen nights, was shortened to fortnight. “We will return in a fortnight.”
New Tulsa Term- The term fortnight, though still used in England and Australia, is no longer heard in the U.S. - until now! Fortnight Home Accents and Gifts is reviving the word to mean that you can expect new product introductions or special events every fortnight!
